Principal, Mrs. Maria Sanson
Dear St. Mark Families,
I am very grateful for my position as principal of Saint Mark School, and so pleased that I was given the opportunity to serve in this capacity. It takes a lot of work to lead our school into the future, and we appreciate the help and support of our parish and school community as we work to do so.
As principal, some of my main goals include effective communication, true demonstrations of Catholic values and, of course, our students’ continued academic success.
Before I accepted this leadership role, I had the good fortune to teach for 26 years in both primary and intermediate grades. This experience allows me to understand the progression of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s academic curriculum. We realize at St. Mark School that every child is a precious gift from God. Here, your children will develop an awareness of God so that their relationship with Him is a part of their everyday lives.
I am continuously amazed at the enthusiasm and support that the community shows for the children and their school. The elementary years are a critical time for the development of students and families alike. I enjoy working with every one of you to make your children’s years at St. Mark successful.
Maria Sanson, Principal
